I’m all about finding a workout that doesn’t feel like a workout! I was anti group fitness until I found High Fitness. This class made me forget I was working out. Now don’t let that statement fool you. It is a killer workout and I leave drenched every time, but I’m having fun and actually enjoying it. “Think Old School Aerobics made Modern. Cardio and toning meets Jane Fonda with a side of Richard Simmons. You will have a blast, see real results both physically and mentally, and leave this class wanting more because it’s so much fun!” One of my favorite things about High Fitness is that in any class you’ll find participants of all ages, sizes, shapes, ethnicities all coming to let loose and have fun. I fell in love with High Fitness so much that I became an instructor and once our gym is back open for classes in LA, I can’t wait to start teaching again! I also fell in love with Upbeat Barre!! I was looking for another format to help on my days off from High Fitness and that’s when I fell in love with Barre. I’ve taken other barre classes and just didn’t like it. They were too ballet inspired and the terminology and form was just not right for me. When I found upbeat barre I immediately fell in love when the first class I took said you could use “athletic” arms instead of the more ballet inspired arm movements. After my first class I was hooked! The creators of format are just gems. They are so full of energy, fun and inspiring. I’ve only taken their live classes through their online subscription and am a total fan. If you can’t get to a gym that teaches it, they offer online subscriptions and have daily classes that they stream.
