MakeMeChic Women’s Floral Print Off Shoulder A Line Summer Dress: Amazon / Taupe Ankle Strap Sandals: Steve Madden
I am completely obsessed with this MakeMeChic women’s floral print off shoulder a line summer dress! This is the perfect Spring dress. The material is so comfortable, and the cut is super flattering. Sometimes when you see a dress online you’re not too sure what’s going to show up, but this dress fits exactly how I imagined. I love the Spring colors and especially love how wide the off the shoulder part is. With off the shoulder dresses, sometimes the off the shoulder part is too thin or too tight. With this wide off the shoulder cut it’s super comfortable and didn’t bug me at all. I have a ton of Spring and Summer weddings coming up and I would totally wear this to a wedding reception. It’s light weight, comfortable and you can wear it all day without having to adjust anything.
You can buy this dress off of Amazon which is even more amazing since they offer Prime shipping. I’m a huge Amazon fan, so anytime I can purchase something Prime, I’m all for it!
Happy Friday everyone! These weeks seem to be flying by and I just can’t seem to get up more than 2 posts a week. I apologize for the lack of posting, but I love reading all of your sweet messages on Instagram and Snapchat! You guys are so sweet and I love seeing you in similar outfits I post.
I had a quick breakfast meeting and then went into the office, so this look was a little more dressed up than I usually am for Fridays. For today’s look I paired this adorable Who What Wear collarless button up blouse with simple drawstring trousers. This collarless button up blouse comes in a variety of other colors and prints and I’m a huge fan! They are perfect for tucking into trousers or a pencil skirt and still look great with a pair of skinny jeans.
I also tried the Whirl Trio Interchangeable Styling Wand and I love it! I love the large, loose curls it gives me! I’ve read so many amazing reviews that I wanted to give this product a shot. I love this product but I also understand that the price range is a little on the high side. Aside from it heating up super fast, which was a bonus since I’m always in a rush, my normal Nume wands work just as well in my opinion. I do love the sleek chic look of these tools compared to the Nume, but if you’re looking for quality at a lower price, I’d still suggest the Nume wands!
Happy Friday guys! I hope you guys have some fun plans for this weekend. I’m hoping I can sneak away to Malibu for a day and even get some golfing in. Fingers crossed! Also before I get a bunch of comments, the wind was blowing like crazy this morning when I attempted to take photos. Thus the hand on the hair pose for every picture. I swear that it was nice and calm and the moment I stepped outside, the wind decided it wanted to play.
When I got this grey ruffle shirt dress I put it on and soon realized it was too tight and way too short for my style. I ordered a small, so maybe if you order up a size it will work as a shirt dress. Sadly it didn’t work as a dress for me, but instead I tucked it into some high-waisted skinny jeans and called it a day. I actually love this more as top than a dress. I love the ruffle texture so much and was actually in search of a ruffle long sleeve all winter but never bought one. In a weird way, this all worked out in my favor!
Happy Sunday! Thankful for another beautiful morning that I got to attend church. For today’s church outfit I went with this Who What Wear collarless button up blouse that I recently picked up. I went into Target for some cleaning supplies and some how ended up in the clothing section. I always end up going in for one thing and walking out with hundreds of dollars spent and always forgetting the one thing I actually needed. The Who What Wear collection has been one of my favorite lines Target started carrying. I’ve worn their line a ton, mainly because they offer modest pieces in their collection. Their line is perfect for the office which always translate perfect for modest church outfits.
Sunday quote of the day is from Dallin H. Oaks, who said “Love is the most powerful force in the world.”
Light Pink Floral Wrap Blouse: c/o Romwe / Skinny Jeans: Rag & Bone / Nude Ankle Strap Sandals: Steve Madden / Purse: Louis Vuitton Monogram Monceau 28
After being in New York for a week, I’m so happy to be back in LA! New York was freezing but towards the end of the trip it warmed up and the sun came out. Of course the first day back in LA it was freezing and rained, just my luck. Now that the sun is shining and it’s warm again I decided it was time to get a new outfit post up.
For today’s outfit I went simple and casual. This adorable light pink floral wrap blouse is so comfortable and the perfect Spring blouse. I love the sleeves on this blouse and especially love how it looks paired with jeans. You could easily pair this floral wrap blouse with a pencil skirt for a more dressed up look.
Happy Sunday guys! Is it just me, or are the weekends just flying by these days. I feel like I didn’t even get a second to relax this weekend so I’m thankful for today. This morning I went to church and wore this adorable Who What Wear layered Raglan dress. You all know how I’m a fan of the Who What Wear collection that is found at Target. The entire Who What Wear collection is perfect and full of amazing modest pieces. I love this line because they have the cutest prints and the pieces are perfect for the office or church. The collection has a great selection of dresses, blouses, skirts, pants and so much more. I’ve come to collect almost all of the line and there’s not one piece I don’t love. This particular dress is not only modest, but light weight and perfect for transitioning into Spring.
Happy Friday everyone! LA is warming up again and the last few days have been ridiculously hot. This morning when I left for work it was on the chilly side so I went with this casual outfit. I paired my favorite light wash denim jeans and tank with this adorable Xhilaration floral bomber jacket. You know me and my love for anything floral. This floral print feels so perfect as we transition into Spring that I had to snag it up.
I haven’t done a quick go to work outfit in a while so I decided to do one today. Today’s simple work outfit is casual and comfortable but perfect for the office. This outfit is also perfect for working all day and then going out after. These green joggers and ribbed tank are on the super casual side. One way to dress up joggers is to pair them with heels. This wrap jacket also is a perfect staple item to have in your closet. A good wrap jacket or duster jacket can dress up casual joggers or throw over a dress.
This work bag is also one of my favorites! It’s from Zara of all places and sadly can’t be found online but I’ve linked similar ones. A good black tote or work bag is a must! I typically stay with black because it can pair with any color or look. I love oversized bags and totes because you can throw your laptop in them as well as any other work items you need.
Happy Sunday Everyone! Thankful for another beautiful day that I got to go to church. For today’s church outfit I went with this adorable short sleeve floral dress. I was at Target the other day picking up Easter decorations when I walked past this dress. Target actually has a very large selection of modest dresses and skirts. I’ve found a ton of modest dresses there and I always come across hidden gems like this one. I love the cut of this dress and especially love the flowy flutter sleeves. I wear a size small but some size small dresses are tight on my arms since I have wide shoulders and some what muscular arms. I love flutter sleeves because they are loose fitting and allow me to wear my true size instead of having to go up a size just for the larger sleeves. I found a ton of other options in store as well that I couldn’t find online, so check your local stores for more goodies. I paired this dress with my favorite Jeffrey Campbell ankle strap sandals and my new go to Gucci bag.
Black Embroidery Lace Up VNeck Dress: c/o Romwe / Black Booties: Topshop
Hi Guys, I’m still alive! I’ve been sick for the past three weeks and struggling to make it through work let alone find time and energy to blog. I’m back and almost kicked this cold for good! Also we’ve been having non stop rain in LA, so it finally cleared up and was nice enough to take some outfit pictures.
For today’s casual Friday outfit I went with this adorable black embroidery lace up vneck dress. I’ll be honest in the image on the website I thought this dress was going to be much longer. It’s a bit on the short side for me with this cold weather, but I think this would make the perfect Summer dress. This dress would work as the perfect cover up to wear over a bikini for a day of walking the board walk. Since I wanted to get this post up sooner rather than later, I wore it today and paired it with simple leather booties. I love the embroidered details on the dress and especially love the pops of color. I wanted the dress to be a little of the flowy side so I ordered a medium, which ended up being the perfect fit for what I wanted.
