5 Minute Makeup Routine – Seint Beauty

In June one of my best girlfriends who was also my college roommate turned me onto a new makeup line. Chelsie has been with the company for a few years now and I had seen her post about the makeup in the past and was always curious. Finally I messaged her and asked if the cream formula was really as easy as she made it look and if it would work with my overly oily skin. Chelsie being the sweetheart that she is sent me an order full of all the goodies to try out.

Now at first I was super intimated and had no idea what I was doing. I was only used to typical liquid foundation and then setting everything with powders. My old routine looked so cakey and just felt extremely heavy on my face so I was up for a change. Let’s also keep in mind this was mid quarantine in Los Angeles, so I hadn’t worn makeup in months! It took me a couple weeks of watching tutorials, trial and error and then I finally found a routine that worked for my skin. Once I found my routine, let me tell you, this makeup really can be applied in 5 minutes! I thought it was a gimmick and theres no way an entire face of makeup can be completed in 5-10 minutes. I was wrong!

I love the HAC method that is taught with Seint beauty. Instead of layering foundation, contour, bronzer and powder on top of each other for a very thick and cakey look, the HAC method teaches you to apply the different shades only where they are needed and not on top of each other. These creams are so easy to blend together and are perfect for a light everyday coverage or can definitely be built up for a full glam face. When I would go into the office before I rarely wore makeup. Every now and then when we had meetings with outside people I’d throw on makeup but my old routine just took long and too much effort to do everyday. Thanks to Seint, I wear makeup to work everyday because it’s so easy and fast. I just feel better about myself when I have a little makeup on.

I never thought in a million years that I would post a makeup less selfie, but here I am! There is no filter on the after picture. This makeup really lightens in the places you want and the contour shade gives you that filter like look. I truly love seeing how natural my “after picture” looks. I don’t feel like I’m wearing a ton of layers of makeup, but rather my skin is just evened out and can breathe.

If you’ve been keeping up with me on Instagram, you see all the tutorials I’ve been posting! I’ve been having so much fun showing you ladies how easy and effective this cream formula truly is. Whether you’re a busy stay at home mom, or someone who goes into an office but is short on time in the morning. Seint beauty is for you! This amazing makeup will save you time and money! Each tin is only $14, so when you’re done all you have to do is buy the color you ran out of. My old foundation cost $65 and I had to buy two shades just to mix and make my perfect shade. This makeup line is super affordable for any budget.

Maybelline Super Stay Multi-Use Foundation Stick

Maybelline Super Stay Multi-Use Foundation Stick

Maybelline Super Stay Multi-Use Foundation

I’ve found my new favorite drug store foundation.  In all honesty, I don’t really buy foundation from drugstores but this product is a must have.  I was very skeptical at first but after my first try I was impressed.  The Maybelline Super Stay Multi-Use Foundation has a great cream to matte formula and worked well with my oily skin.  I applied my YSL primer underneath like normal and this foundation applied smooth and was easy to blend out.  For blending out the foundation I did use a beauty blender for the majority of my face just because it’s larger and saved me time.  I did use the sponge on the stick to blend out under my eyes and it did pretty well.

The best part about this foundation is that it under $10 and so small and compact. The best part is that you don’t have to worry about taking a brush or blender with you, everything is together and so convenient. Thank you Influenster and Maybelline for sending over this product to try out!

Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter

Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter

You guys I have a new product for you to try! You know that I’m a huge fan of Marc Jacobs foundation and their coconut face primer.  I just received the Marc Jacobs dew drops coconut gel highlighter in the mail last night from Influenster and I’m obsessed. This lightweight highlighter is a creamy highlighter that you can add into your foundation for an over all glow or add it on your cheek bones for a highlight.  I tried it on my cheek bones and down the center of my nose with my contour and I loved the finished results.  This highlighter is also on the thicker side so you really don’t need to use that much.  On my first try I did one whole pump and ended up wasting a bunch, so do a half pump and it will go a long way.

On the Sephora website it says this product features five forms of coco.nut to hydrate and nourish your skin.  Those five forms include: Coconut alkanes to help with longer wear,  Coconut milk to deeply hydrate, Coconut water to provide refreshing electrolytes,  Coconut polysaccharides to help condition and Coconut fragrance to add a slight scent.

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD foundation

I just received this amazing box from Influenster! This VoxBox contained Make Up For Ever Ultra HD foundation in stick and liquid form. I was so excited to try these products out!  I had seen the liquid foundation pop up on a few beauty blogs I follow, and was curious at how well they worked. In the tube the liquid foundation looked too dark for my skin tone, but once I started applying the liquid foundation with my beauty blender it matched perfectly and evened out.  The consistency of this foundation is amazing and I love how light weight it feels on the skin.  Oily skin is something I suffer from, and this foundation held up decent. I wore the foundation over my normal primer and it lasted almost all day.

bdellium makeup brushes: Pink Bamboo Deluxe Set

I recently posted about my gold makeup brush holders (seen here) and got a ton of girls asking me what brand the pink brushes were so I decided to quickly do a post about them. I was at Naimies in LA and came across the deluxe pink bamboo bdellium makeup brushes and fell in love. I own the full MAC lines of brushes, the full Morphe line of brushes and the full line of the yellow deluxe bdellium brushes so honestly I didn’t need these brushes at all but, come on, they’re pink so of course I had to get them just based on their cute factor.

Gold Makeup Brush Holder: Target

Last night I snapchatted my clean makeup brushes and got so many screenshots and questions asking where my gold makeup brush holder was from.  These amazing holders are actually found at Target of all places in their desktop organization section. I personally love stationary and anything for my desk so I’m always cruising that aisle and a couple of years ago I came across these gold holders and immediately thought that they would make the perfect makeup brush holders.  I love them because they have staggered height which makes it perfect for your larger taller brushes but also perfect for some of my smaller travel size brushes that I have. I used to have them organized by the type of brush, eye brushes in one, foundation brushes in one, blush brushes in one and so forth, but my OCD kicked in and the colors being thrown in together made me crazy so now I separate them by the brush collection and color.

#YSLCorrectionPerfection - Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Neutralizers

Thanks to Influenster I was able to try out the new Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Neutralizer. I received the violet neutralizer which highlights and neutralizes skin imperfections. The violet corrects yellow dull skin for a healthy glow. They also have two other colors, green and bisque.  Green corrects blemishes and conceals redness for an even skin tone and Bisque corrects dark circles and dark spots.  I love the easy click brush and application and the lightweight formula which doesn’t cake on me.  I don’t really have dark circles but this violet neutralizer helps give the perfect amount of highlight under my eyes.

Lux Box

Luxboxes - Tia Wong

I’m so excited that my Lux Box arrived!! I kept seeing the Lux Box pop up on my Instagram feed so I decided I would give it a try.  I normally keep my lipsticks and lip glosses in two of my makeup drawers which takes up so much room so I figured this was the perfect solution to free up some drawers for more makeup! I got the box in clear, and it holds 120 lipsticks in individual slots and also has space on the side for lip liners or extra glosses. I was not gifted this item, so this is my true review of the product and would highly suggest it!

Get your here.
