We’ve had more rain in the past month than in the past five years! It’s been crazy, but thankfully California is almost out of our drought. I’ve never had to invest in a pair of rain boots because we normally we barely have any rain in Los Angeles. This past month I have successfully ruined almost 4 pairs of shoes or sneakers due to the rain. After ruining one of my favorite pairs of Nikes, I decided I had to give in and buy a pair of rain boots. I love Hunter boots, but they are just a little to chunky for me. Also let’s be honest, it isn’t raining that hard in LA that I need those heavy-duty boots. Instead I opted for these adorable Jeffrey Campbell rain boots! They are sleek and fashionable but also functional. They were a bit stiff when I first bought them, but as you wear them in, they get better. I love the design because they don’t look like your typical rain boots. If you don’t want to go with a heel, they also have this similar design with less of heel which I’ve linked above as well!

I’ve never been a huge fan of dry shampoos but I’ve finally found a couple I love. My hair is long and thin and also gets oily super fast. I typically wash my hair everyday because if I don’t, it will be too oily the next day. Washing your hair everyday isn’t the best so that’s the only reason I gave dry shampoo a chance. I also like using dry shampoo when I curl my hair, because it helps my curls last longer than one day.
I only used Batiste for a long time which I absolutely love, but was gifted some new brands to try. Out of the new brands I tried here are my new favorite dry shampoos. I’ve gone through a few cans of the Living Proof dry shampoo which is my new go to. I love this particular one because it gives a lot more texture to my limp hair. This one you have to let sit for a while and really work it through your hair for it to really absorb. Although this takes more work than Batiste, I did realize it gives more volume and really does last a long time. I also actually like the smell of this particular brand of dry shampoo as well.
I gave Klorane dry shampoo a try since it was highly rated. I liked the product a lot but I will say that I went through my first bottle super fast. I also gave Drybar’s dry conditioning a try since I’ve been reading great reviews about it as well. Drybar’s dry conditioner is formulated to smooth, hydrate, and detangle hair in between washes. I’ve only used about two or three times but so far I do like it. It’s great for my hydrating my scalp and also taming my frizzy ends.
PASTEL PURPLE NIKELAB AIR MAX THEA: Nike
If you know me, you know that I love and practically live in sneakers. When I saw this pastel purple nikelab air max thea sneakers I was in heaven! I have the Air Max Thea’s in black, white, tan and now this beautiful shade of purple! I love the fit of these sneakers so much, and they offer stylish support. One reason I love the Thea design is that you can easily pair these with a shirt dress or casual shift dress and it works perfectly together.
I was recently online shopping on Nordstrom and came across way too many cute sandals and flats that are perfect for Spring that I had to make a quick guide. This Spring shoe guide has some of my favorites that I recently purchased along with a few others that I’m still debating on buying but I will most likely grab them before they’re gone. Not only are florals a must for Spring but I also love straying away from my go to black and liven things up with some bright colors. These bright yellow and coral sandals were immediate must haves for me. These bright sandals are perfect to pair for a casual look with jeans and t-shirt and can easily be switched up and paired with a fun and flirty dress for the perfect date night shoe.

Their site is constantly changing its inventory so items are priced super affordable but are also gone very quickly so when you see a good deal you need to jump on it! I found these super affordable fashion pieces which are perfect for Spring and Summer. Happy Shopping!
With Spring around the corner and this crazy hot weather we’re already having in LA, I decided to throw together a quick guide featuring some must have pieces for your Spring Wardrobe. For Spring I love light flowy dresses that you can throw a jacket over to keep warm in the cool mornings but is the perfect light weight material to keep cool in as the day warms up. I also have a new love for bodysuits or bathing suits that can double as a bodysuit. I love these two bodysuits that I’ve linked which are perfect to wear with a pair of denim cut off jeans to walk the boardwalk or hanging at a barbecue.
