Everyone is bundled up for Fall and I’m over here in a dress. It’s been ridiculously hot in Los Angeles the past few weeks, with no sight of cool weather anytime soon. Since we’re still having warm weather I plan on wearing dresses as long as I can. This adorable pink cinched in lace up waist t-shirt dress is my new obsession. I love t-shirt dresses because they are so easy to throw on. Sometimes t-shirt dresses can be too casual so I love the cinched in lace up detail. This adorable dress works great for a casual day paired with sneakers or heeled booties like I did for today’s look.

You’ll also see that I’m still rocking that Free People denim jacket! I seriously cannot take it off. This detailed denim jacket literally goes with everything. You can wear it like I did in my previous post or throw it around a simple dress for the perfect finishing touch.

Happy Sunday Everyone! For today’s Sunday best church outfit I went with this simple look. The amazing thing about today’s outfit is that it’s on sale! The philosophy apparel knit sweater and pencil skirt are from Nordstrom but I couldn’t find them on their site. Then I went over to Nordstrom Rack and realized they were not only fully in stock but on SALE! Who doesn’t love a good sale! The sweater and pencil skirt are both on sale for under $20 a piece!! These pieces also come in a variety of colors.

The Philosophy Apparel knit sweater is one of my new favorites! It’s light weight and perfect of Fall in Los Angeles. I love the 3/4 sleeves and because it is light weight it’s amazing for layering. You can also pair these knit sweaters with jeans for the perfect casual look. These Philosophy Apparel pencil skirts are also amazing. They fit perfectly around the waist and have enough stretch to fit your curves comfortably.

Can we take a second to talk about how cute this Free People Sunday Funday Denim Trucker Jacket is. I’m seriously obsessed and cannot stop wearing it. This is the perfect Fall jacket! I ordered a small and it’s got a ton of room. I personally like the oversized fit, so I don’t mind the baggy look. If you want this jacket to be more fitting, I’d size down. The extra room is perfect for layering this jacket over sweaters like I did today. This adorable front ruffle sweater is from Nordstrom. I grabbed this sweater during the semi-annual sale and got it in every color possible. Sadly the sweater is sold out, but I’ve linked similar ones above.

Happy Monday everyone! Over the weekend I finally had some time off and got dressed up and went out. I wore this adorable floral fluted sleeve midi dress that I bought from ASOS earlier this year. Sadly because I had this dress just sitting in my closet for so long, its out of stock in this color. I’ve linked a ton of alternative off the shoulder dresses from ASOS. I am a huge fan of off the shoulder dresses. Sometimes the off the shoulder dresses can be a little too tight on my arms so these fluted sleeves are perfect. The first link above is the exact same dress in a different color and print.

Whenever I’m in need of a cute dress, ASOS is always one of my first stops. I love the large variety of inventory they have and it’s always changing with the trends. They have the cutest prints and especially the cutest cuts. They also have sizes ranging from petite to maternity so you can literally find whatever you need on their site.

2 in 1 Floral Slip Dress

I’ve always wanted to try the 2 in 1 slip dress trend but just never got around to it. I finally found this 2 in 1 floral slip dress from Dottie Couture Boutique and I’m in love with it. This is the perfect Summer dress for any casual occasion and I can’t wait to wear it this Fall with a denim jacket. The length of this floral dress is perfect for my taste. I bought a medium so that the slip dress was more on the flowy side instead of tight. The dress is sadly a little too big so I clipped it in the back. I would recommend you buy true to size if they restock this dress. Since this particular dress is sold out I’ve linked some similar ones above.

If you already own slip dresses, you could easily recreate this look. All you need to do is layer your slip dress over a thin t-shirt. I think the key to the 2 in 1 slip dress trend is to make sure that the shirt underneath isn’t too bulky. On this particular dress, the shirt is super thin and actually more of a crop top so you don’t get any weird lines half way down the dress. I also like that the shirt if detachable. Some 2 in 1 dresses have the under shirt sewn to the slip dress which I wasn’t a fan of. If you can find 2 in 1 dresses with a detachable undershirt, you can reuse it on other slip dresses!

Black and white vibes for today’s church outfit. Awhile back I posted about this floral cross front blouse on my Instagram during the Nordstrom Sale. I bought this floral cross front blouse in this print as well as white and black because I loved it so much. I love the front cross detail and especially love the flared sleeves. These blouses are super lightweight and are the perfect length. You can tuck them into a skirt or jeans for a fitted look, or leave them out. I’ve worn this blouse with jeans and left it untucked and it hits right past the waist. Sadly the blouses are no longer sold at Nordstrom but I was able to find the pink version online at Nordstrom Rack which is linked above. I also found a short sleeve version from Romwe which is linked above.

I’ve been swamped with work and other projects that I haven’t blogged in forever! I’m sorry guys, but finally a new outfit post today.

This adorable pink bell sleeve shift dress from Charles Henry is my new obsession. I picked up this dress from Nordstrom earlier this year and I’m just now getting around to it. I don’t know what’s taken me so long to wear it but I absolutely love it. The bell sleeves with ruffles are of course my favorite part of the dress, but the color is also stunning. The color is so bright, so I kept things simple and paired this dress with nude pumps and my new go to Louis Vuitton top handle purse. I originally bought this dress to wear to my friend’s wedding. You could easily tone this dress down for an everyday work outfit or going out with friends.

Happy Sunday everyone! This past week was way too hot, so I didn’t get any new outfit posts up but I’ll try to do better next week. Today I finally just braved the heat and quickly snapped a few outfit pictures before church.

For today’s church outfit I wore this adorable floral wrap blouse paired with full flare skirt. I’ve worn this floral wrap blouse before in this previous blog post seen here. This blouse pairs amazing with jeans for a casual look but tucked into a skirt like I did for today’s look, works great as well. Sadly this blouse is sold out but I’ve linked similar ones above. For today’s church outfit I wore this adorable floral flutter sleeve blouse. You all know my obsession with anything floral and my current obsession with flutter sleeves, so this is my dream blouse. This blouse is light weight and was perfect for today since we’ve been having a heat wave in the valley.

I picked up this adorable blouse at Nordstrom but sadly couldn’t find the exact same one online. I was able to find a similar cut blouse from the same brand on Nordstrom Rack and have linked that blouse above. Today I paired this floral flutter sleeve blouse with a midi pencil bodycon skirt for a dressed up look. I’ve also worn this blouse paired with jeans and sandals for a casual everyday look.

Another dress steal for today’s outfit! This adorable blue and white long sleeve shift dress is on sale for under $12. They accidentally sent me an extra small, so thus the tight fit. I originally ordered a small and I feel like it would have been perfect.

I wore this dress over a black slip since it’s on the sheer side. This adorable shift dress would actually be the perfect swim suit cover up! If you want to wear it as a cover up I’d suggest ordering one size up so it’s easier to throw on and take off. The material is super light weight and easy to pack for those last minute Summer vacations. If you choose to dress this up like I did, espadrille sandals are the perfect combination.
