Work has been a bit crazy so I’ve been so behind on blogging!  Finally getting a new outfit post featuring the outfit I wore to church this past Sunday. I’ve been getting so many messages asking where my Sunday Best posts have been, so I apologize for the delay. I’m trying to get back in the habit of blogging my church outfits even if it takes me a day or so to get them up.

I am obsessed with this Zara pastel pink ruffle sleeve blouse! I walked past Zara the other day and saw this blouse hanging in the window and I ran in and bought it in three colors. I love the fit and especially love the large ruffle texture.  I paired this blouse with a black midi pencil skirt for Sunday’s church outfit.  I’ve also paired this blouse with jeans and heels for a fun date night look.  The reason I bought this blouse in three colors is because it’s so versatile and perfect for any season.  I’ve also linked some similar ruffle sleeve blouses above.

How cute is this MakeMeChic Floral Cocktail Dress! I’ve teamed up with them for the next couple of posts and I’m so excited.  All of the items from MakeMeChic can be purchased off of Amazon.  Hello prime shipping! I love shopping online and I especially love when you can get prime shipping. There’s nothing worse than finding the cutest clothes but then have to wait two weeks for them to arrive.

Back to this adorable floral cocktail dress. This is another perfect Spring or Summer dress.  Just like my last post, this dress has a wide off the shoulder band which I’m loving.  This dress is more form-fitting than the last one but it’s still effortless and chic. You could easily wear this to a wedding, baby shower, or even just a date night out. My closet is color coded, so when I went to hang this dress in my closet I quickly realized I barely have anything blue. I had maybe one other pastel blue dress but that was it.  I love this dusty blue color so much that I’ve been looking for other dresses in this similar color.  Besides the gorgeous blue color, you all know I’m a sucker for anything floral print so this was of course a must have dress.

I am completely obsessed with this MakeMeChic women’s floral print off shoulder a line summer dress! This is the perfect Spring dress. The material is so comfortable, and the cut is super flattering.  Sometimes when you see a dress online you’re not too sure what’s going to show up, but this dress fits exactly how I imagined.  I love the Spring colors and especially love how wide the off the shoulder part is. With off the shoulder dresses, sometimes the off the shoulder part is too thin or too tight.  With this wide off the shoulder cut it’s super comfortable and didn’t bug me at all.  I have a ton of Spring and Summer weddings coming up and I would totally wear this to a wedding reception.  It’s light weight, comfortable and you can wear it all day without having to adjust anything.

You can buy this dress off of Amazon which is even more amazing since they offer Prime shipping.  I’m a huge Amazon fan, so anytime I  can purchase something Prime, I’m all for it!

Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter

Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter

You guys I have a new product for you to try! You know that I’m a huge fan of Marc Jacobs foundation and their coconut face primer.  I just received the Marc Jacobs dew drops coconut gel highlighter in the mail last night from Influenster and I’m obsessed. This lightweight highlighter is a creamy highlighter that you can add into your foundation for an over all glow or add it on your cheek bones for a highlight.  I tried it on my cheek bones and down the center of my nose with my contour and I loved the finished results.  This highlighter is also on the thicker side so you really don’t need to use that much.  On my first try I did one whole pump and ended up wasting a bunch, so do a half pump and it will go a long way.

On the Sephora website it says this product features five forms of coco.nut to hydrate and nourish your skin.  Those five forms include: Coconut alkanes to help with longer wear,  Coconut milk to deeply hydrate, Coconut water to provide refreshing electrolytes,  Coconut polysaccharides to help condition and Coconut fragrance to add a slight scent.

The Perfect Weekender Bag

I’ve been traveling a lot for work and also making a point to take quick weekend get aways. Sometimes I’m only away for a couple of days at a time and I hate packing a full carry on suitcase, so I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect weekender bag.  I tried a few out and also just found a few online so I decided to link a  few of my favorites incase anyone else is on the hunt!

Lo and Sons THE CATALINA DELUXE LARGE

The Catalina Deluxe Large: Lo and Sons

I just recently bought this bag and I’m a huge fan! At first I think it was going to be too big, but it’s amazing.  A few of my favorite features are the bottom compartment and how the bag slides over a rolling suitcase handle.  The bottom part zips open and perfectly stores two pairs of shoes so you don’t have to worry about stuffing them in with your clothes.  On the back side of the bag is a slot that unzips so it can sit safely on your suitcase without falling off which was a huge selling point for me.

The Columbus Holdall: MAHI

I came across this killer bag on Instagram and immediately fell in love! This classic duffel bag is the perfect size weekender.  I love the timeless look and feel of this vintage cognac suede material and also love the multiple smaller pockets for accessories.  This bag has a khaki cotton lining and also comes with a detachable and extendable shoulder strap with padding which is perfect if you’re carrying a heavy load.  This bag would be the perfect weekend to stuff with a few outfits and toiletries and be out the door.

Watson lane large lyla: Kate Spade

If you’re looking for a chic black weekender, Kate Spade has you covered! This jersey nylon weekender is perfect for traveling and also durable.  I’ve owned this bag for a few years and for long work trips I usually pack this as my carryon.  I love the nylon material, especially when I traveled to NY and it was snowing, there was no water damage and it was easily to clean off.  This also comes with a shoulder strap

Women’s Weekender: Merona

If you’re looking for an affordable weekender bag, Merona has the perfect one. This bag comes in a variety of colors and different prints at Target. This weekender bag is made of cotton and has interior pockets for your phone and one for other accessories.  This bag sits upright and makes packing much easier. This bag is a smaller than the rest that I’ve posted about, but still gets the job done!

Happy Monday guys! I’m so excited to blog about this Mobovida Bristol Belt Bag! Yes, the fanny pack is back! But let’s be honest, this Mobovida Bristol belt bag is a much more chic version of the fanny packs that our parents used to rock.  I’m always a fan when function meets fashion and this is exactly what has happened here. Not only does this function as a belt bag or fanny pack, but it also comes with a shoulder chain.

When I’m on set I love to wear leggings so I’m comfortable and able to run around.  The only down side to that, is that I don’t have pockets to hold anything.  For the last year or so I’ve been using my running belt as my set fanny pack to hold my phone, keys and necessary papers.  If you know what a running pack is, its very thin material that stretches to fit a lot, but it also looks bulky and kind of funny.  This fanny pack is perfect for set! It has multiple slots for cards, key fob ring, lined cell phone pocket, privacy pocket for cash, portable battery bank and a headphone cable slot.  My favorite thing about this bag is that I can take this chic bag from fanny pack style during the day on set, to a cross body bag for a completely different look for going out that night.

Want to help the Bristol Belt Bag become a reality? Mobovida is launching a Kickstart campaign, so sign up now for exclusive discounts and a chance to win a free belt bag!

Happy Friday everyone! These weeks seem to be flying by and I just can’t seem to get up more than 2 posts a week. I apologize for the lack of posting, but I love reading all of your sweet messages on Instagram and Snapchat! You guys are so sweet and I love seeing you in similar outfits I post.

I had a quick breakfast meeting and then went into the office, so this look was a little more dressed up than I usually am for Fridays. For today’s look I paired this adorable Who What Wear collarless button up blouse with simple drawstring trousers.  This collarless button up blouse comes in a variety of other colors and prints and I’m a huge fan! They are perfect for tucking into trousers or a pencil skirt and still look great with a pair of skinny jeans.

I also tried the Whirl Trio Interchangeable Styling Wand and I love it! I love the large, loose curls it gives me! I’ve read so many amazing reviews that I wanted to give this product a shot.  I love this product but I also understand that the price range is a little on the high side.  Aside from it heating up super fast, which was a bonus since I’m always in a rush, my normal Nume wands work just as well in my opinion. I do love the sleek chic look of these tools compared to the Nume, but if you’re looking for quality at a lower price, I’d still suggest the Nume wands!

Happy Friday guys! I hope you guys have some fun plans for this weekend.  I’m hoping I can sneak away to Malibu for a day and even get some golfing in. Fingers crossed! Also before I get a bunch of comments, the wind was blowing like crazy this morning when I attempted to take photos.  Thus the hand on the hair pose for every picture. I swear that it was nice and calm and the moment I stepped outside, the wind decided it wanted to play.

When I got this grey ruffle shirt dress I put it on and soon realized it was too tight and way too short for my style. I ordered a small, so maybe if you order up a size it will work as a shirt dress.  Sadly it didn’t work as a dress for me, but instead I tucked it into some high-waisted skinny jeans and called it a day. I actually love this more as top than a dress. I love the ruffle texture so much and was actually in search of a ruffle long sleeve all winter but never bought one.  In a weird way, this all worked out in my favor!

Happy Sunday! Thankful for another beautiful morning that I got to attend church.  For today’s church outfit I went with this Who What Wear collarless button up blouse that I recently picked up.  I went into Target for some cleaning supplies and some how ended up in the clothing section.  I always end up going in for one thing and walking out with hundreds of dollars spent and always forgetting the one thing I actually needed. The Who What Wear collection has been one of my favorite lines Target started carrying.  I’ve worn their line a ton, mainly because they offer modest pieces in their collection.  Their line is perfect for the office which always translate perfect for modest church outfits.

Sunday quote of the day is from Dallin H. Oaks, who said “Love is the most powerful force in the world.”
